“Comes a time when the guitar inspires you, simply asking: “that’s what I want to be like…”
And then, submissive and proud of “her” character we devote our skill to give life to the vision “she” suggested.”

NOAHGUITARS

2012

Throughout its history, NOAH GUITARS has made some special limited edition instruments.
Often with particular genesis, these are the projects in which new concepts are developed and innovative techniques consolidated. Each NOAH Limited Edition has its own story, time and way of being: the excesses are removed and each series is the mirror of a precise thought, which imbues every aesthetic, constructive and sound detail.
In their entirety, these projects express the deep passion, curiosity, competence and care that have always characterized the approach of this Italian production reality.

NOAH BLOOM

“Bloom, an ancient motif, rich and meaningful, symbol of life and eternity, in the west it is known as “paisley”.
7 pieces for those who can recognise the precious beauty of an enchanting body.”

7 guitars and 7 basses, slim body typical of the NOAH Slim series. Maple neck and fingerboard.
On the front, a traditional decoration reinterpreted in a modern key and made with new technologies: directly engraved on the body and handcrafted with red resin. Red garnet set in the knobs.

The first one was made in 2014 for the Forte Village exhibition in Sardinia, Italy.

NOAH TEAR DROP

7 guitars, slim body and shape design by Lorenzo Palmeri, maple neck and fingerboard. Lou Reed had a guitar like this, with only a little engrave calling his name. In this L.E., details get bigger: the letters dance out of the knobs, they enlarge and move on the body in memory of life.

The first one was made in 2014 for the Forte Village exhibition in Sardinia, Italy.

NO-NO BASS

NO-NO Bass, an opportunity of convergency with the designer Fabio Novembre, who has the idea of drawing a bass that talks directly about the musician that plays it, starting from a personal logo. The project follows and implements new shapes, mechanical controllers are placed in the “eyes” and the black neck made of carbon flows between the fingers of the musician. An instrument worn as shield and spear.

Made in 2015, dedicated to the Italian bassist Saturnino Celani.

NOAH 5875 LAP STEEL

The concept of balance between tradition and innovation is tangible in every detail. The contrast is emphasized in the use of materials and finishes: the aluminum front is clean and essential, the wood back cover is decorated and warm to the touch. Chladni Plate has been the reference inspiring its decoration. The chosen shapes are generated by a 5875,5 Hz sound. The internal finish of the decoration refers to the way of finishing of ancient wood craft tradition. There are only 2 like this, the first one and its backup.

First NOAH Lap Steel, made in 2017 and dedicated to Ben Harper.

NOAH STUDDED BASS

The traditional NOAH Slim bass is enriched with the armor. The studs are obtained together with the body, milled out from the same aluminum slab. As is customary for an armature, the body of the instrument has been further lightened from the inside. On the outside, the brightness of the material emphasizes the design of the studs, transforming the surface of the instrument into a skin armed with light. 7 basses in which studs and finishes change to tell each time a different and unique story.

The first one was made in 2017 for Francesca Delogu: NOAH Vivienne is shiny and elegant, with a black painted maple neck and an ebony fretboard.

MATTER INTERPLAYS

The guitar becomes part of a larger installation, called Matter Interplays: it narrates its own story, its vision and the birth of NOAH GUITARS as an innovative and unique reality. The panel, measuring 80x130cm, respects the proportional rules of the golden rectangle and the mainly used materials are wood and metal. A woody soul, covered with a very thin printed stainless steel sheet and maple veneer on all thicknesses. The seat of the guitar: a soft cradle in red felt.

Made in 2020, on the occasion of the Boutique Guitar Showcase at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles.
