NOAH Lap Steel by NOAH GUITARS, the italian aluminium lap steel guitar milled out from a unique metal slab of aluminium alloy and completely hollow, will attend to Boutique Guitar Showcase at Summer NAMM on 28-29-30 of June 2018 in Nashville.
The project has been in progress for a few years and two prototypes have been made on the way.
They were searching for the right balance between tradition and innovation, “for its shell, its nerves, its voice“.
The first aluminium lap steel guitar made by NOAH GUITARS was born in 2017:
NOAH 5875 Lap Steel has been made as a special custom instrument for Mr. Ben Harper, who inspired this unique project.
Since then, only other two has been made and the Number 3 will attend to Boutique Guitar Showcase,
the collection of some of the finest boutique instrument makers from around the world curated by Jamie Gale, at Summer NAMM in Nashville this June.
The final version will be presented in this occasion, with its pure mirror look and its resin and maple inlays.
With this model, an interesting interpretation is offered to the musician: NOAH Lap Steel is completely milled out from a unique piece of aluminum alloy and its hollowed body and neck turn in to reactive components of the vibrant instrument.
